How to create .html extension file on WordPress.com

  I am newbie. I want to submit WordPress sitemap to Yahoo by creating Yahoo verification file: y_key_e568894c6265406b.html.
  I created using both Create Page & Create Post -> http://business2success.wordpress.com/y_key_e568894c6265406b/ . But it never have .html extension.
  As a result, Yahoo Site Explorer can’t find it. So how can I create : http://business2success.wordpress.com/y_key_e568894c6265406b.html ?

  This is the only thing I could find about Yahoo Site Explorer. Seems there is no way to do what you want to do.

  Perhaps I’m missing something basic, but technically speaking how is this different than verifying your site with Google using the Google verification page? http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/08/08/how-do-i-verify-my-site-with-google/

  I can only guess that Google is a little more lenient on the file name issue whereas Yahoo isn’t.

  just use google webmaster tools
