how to creating coming soon page

  Hi,

  I want to create a coming soon page webpage not blog and have already got a .com domain registered. Do I need to pay the £11 to link the domain to WordPress.

  I found this link which recommends the following add on:

  The link you found works if you have a self-hosted WordPress.org installation, which is not the case of abilitybridgingdotcom.wordpress.com, that is hosted on WordPress.com.

  if you want, you can use a custom .com domain to your site hosted at WordPress.com, just follow the directions on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  You will indeed need a plan to do so. visit https://store.wordpress.com/plans/

  Regarding the comming soon page, you can always set a front page to your site, and hide every other content from the users view. When you’re ready, assemble the custom menus to show every other content.
