How to customize CSS when using Display Posts shortcode on Home page

Hi there! We’re running an issues-based online journal at http://www.thescatteredpelican.com, and we have made it so the Home page displays our current issue. Our Home page is using the Display Posts shortcode, and it seems to be overriding the Oxygen template layout. Could you help me fix it? Thanks a lot!

Hi there, the Display Posts Shortcode has very minimalistic styling and does not use the styling for the normal posts page (blog) layout, and cannot be used on the Oxygen Showcase Page Template. If you can tell me what you are looking for, I can see what I can do, or make some possible suggestions.

One thing that came to mind would be to assign the current issues to a separate category, such as Current Issues. We could then use a bit of CSS trickery to show only that category of posts on the main page. They when you were ready for a new issue to show on the front page, you would assign the previous post to something like Past Issues and the assign the new issue to Current Issues.
