How to customize emails of blog posts?
-
How can I include some additional content (e.g. a url to another website) into the emails that are sent out to subscribers that follow our postings? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t. This function sends emails of your own latest posts to your subscribers. When we subscribe to posts that’s what we expect to get and nothing more than that. If you wish to include additional content then you must include it in the posts being sent out.

This is the result of clicking your username:
lunaandstella.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog. You can easily replace that link with a link to your active blog. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Ok, I will change the posts. I’ve also changed the website linked to the username. Thank you for the help!

If you switch to a theme with an active excerpt function, you can customize the emails sent to subscribers. You can include formatting (background color, images, font size and color, links, but not embedded videos) and a customized text summary of your post.
For a list of themes with useable excerpt function:

(see the bottom of that post)
(probably not) -
ooops:
BTW, for that to work
Dashboard —> Settings —> Reading —> “For each article in a feed, show summary” —> Save
