How to customize menus

Hi. I have been trying to figure out for a long time how to customize the menus on my blog sites (scottfeldman.phd and dharmadwelling) . I have a visual disability, so I may be missing something. However, I’ve read over the support pages on customizing menus multiple times and still can’t make it work. I’d appreciate a hand with this, as I don’t want to go on-line with my blog until it’s structured the way I want it to be.

As a simple example, on dharmadwelling, I’m trying to make sub-menu items under the menu item “about”. The first sub-menu of about should be “contemplative psychotherapy”. Whereas I’ve been able to nest the contemplative psychotherapy page under about, I can’t figure out how to make a sub-heading for this page that would show up on the home page. I’d really appreciate help with this so that I can start blogging.

    Thank you,
    Scott Feldman

  • To make a sub-menu, you’ll need to add the item below it in the menu editor and then drag it slightly to the right.

    There’s a video tutorial at http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Macmanx – Thank you for this info. I think I’ve finally figured it out.
