How to customize shortlinks?

  I would like to customize the shortlink that is generated by wordpress on tweets sent out each time i put up a new post. Can someone help me do that?

  How do i customize the shortlink in the tweets that are sent out each time a put up a post on twitter to reflect the name of my blog, WiseLawNY? Is this even possible?

  Hi Dan,

  The only customization we have with the shortlink would be to have a slug that is 8 characters or less.

  For example, when I updated by permalink to:

  

  I was able to have the words show up on Twitter like this:

  

  However, you wouldn’t be able to customize the letters before -eighty, such as http://wp.me/s3BuG4
