How to customize the blog for photo blogging

  I’m creating a new blog in which I intend to display photos, so I want some customizations like:
  -showing photo thumbnails in the front page, each linking to it’s designated photo post
  -having the users rate photos by a poll or something
  -being able to list top posts (ordered by viewer rating)
  -being able to put a random post (thumbnail) in the sidebar

  Any help or suggestion is appreciated :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  These are all possible. Search the FAQs and the Support info files for static front page, images, links, polls, widgets, text widget.

  Not possible as far as I know. You can see it on VIP blogs like Icanhascheezburger, but I don’t know of any way to do it right in the blog except just by plain old comments.
