How to CUSTOMIZE the new cookie policy widget ????

  It refuses any text modification. And my blog is supposed to be written in french, not in english…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Already read (before posting here). Useless, unfortunately.

  When I try to customise field content, I just cannot select, delete, or modify any letter of default text.

  Any idea ? What about translation of this widget ?

  I’m sorry for what may be stating the obvious, but under Banner Text in the widget, are you first changing the radio button from DEFAULT to CUSTOM before trying to add new text? Under “Policy Link Text” and “Button text” you should be able to change the text freely.

  There is another possibility: does the account you are logged in with have Admin status to be able to add and customize the widget?

  If none of the above works for you, please add the MODLOOK tag to the Tags section of the forum thread sidebar for Staff assistance.

  OF COURSE I did… That’s why there is a problem…
  And yes, I have admin status with the account I use for this blog.

  Hi there,

  In the custom text area under “Banner Text” in the EU Cookie Law Widget settings, you can type or paste in your own text and it will replace the default widget text. (That text is placeholder text, so you can’t highlight or delete it — you can just type or paste over the placeholder text to replace it with your own text.)
