how to customize theme colors?

  I got the custom css upgrade after support informed me I could change my blog’s appearance from blue to yellow in the ocean mist theme. But in the CSS it looks like the colors are determined by patterned graphics, and since I can’t change those graphics, I don’t see how I can change the colors.

  Specifically: ocean-mist/images/bg_header.gif I was hoping to change that dark blue to something lighter. Is it possible?

  Yes, it is. You just need to modify the image however you like and upload it to your account, then in your CSS, you modify the background property pointing the URL to your custom image.
