@aliciagoesrawr
What makes you think that deactivating gravatar will get rid of your virus issue? I don’t think it will at all because I don’t experience any virus warnings on the gravatar site at all.Here’s the result of two security scans>
One on your blog http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/aliciagoesrawr.wordpress.com/
One on your gravatar profile http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/en.gravatar.com/aliciagoesrawrI’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Please dont put words in my mouth. Deactivating wont stop virus but it will keep them from coming. I don’t need to check your security results cause i already have mine.

HI there,
I haven’t heard of a virus on Gravatar shutting down any user’s computer. Is it possible to show us the results of your security scan that shows that the virus is coming from Gravatar? I’d be happy to take a look!
Also, as seen in @phantomcoast’s comment, it is not possible to delete a Gravatar account, but you can delete all the information. Please go to the “Edit My Profile” page, and you can also hide your profile from external access. Visit your profile page (click your name in the top navigation of the website), then click the “Hide My Profile” link in the bottom, right-hand corner.
Thank you!
