How to deal with "like" spam ?

  How does one deal with the issue of “like” spam? “people” clicking the “like” button for your posts so they show up under “xxx liked your post”.

  (I honestly have no idea if this is an effective tool for them, if it helps their search rankings or…but it infuriates me.

  So…is there anyway to delete “likes”, and preferably block the user? (and if not- is there any real way to contact the people behind WP and raise the issue?”

  You cannot control who “likes” your posts, but you can turn of the display: http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/#likes-and-your-site
