how to delete a category

  I have an category called ‘entradas’ but in the blog it says ‘talentos dominicanos’. i want to delete it but i dont want th eposts thqat are tagged with that category got deleted.. helppp

  Deleting a Category will not delete the associated post content:

  https://adryjavier.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

  Keep in mind, you cannot delete a default Category, even if you’ve renamed it.
