How to delete a certain category?

  Hi there,

  I was wondering how to delete a certain category? I am able to create them to filter my blog posts, but I have an extra one that I never use, and I was just wondering how to remove it.

  1. To edit or delete a category assigned to a post (whether it’s a draft or has already been published), go to Dashboard → Posts → All Posts in your dashboard, hover over the title and click the Edit link. To delete the post click the Trash link.

  2. To edit/delete categories in your dashboard go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  3. To edit or delete dynamic category pages from your custom menu go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus

  4. To edit or delete Tags go to
