How to delete a comment…

    In 2016, I made a comment that shows my real name. I am concerned that it is impacting my job search and that it could also lead to abuse targeted at me in the future by hate groups. I have logged into my account but cannot find the thread in order to delete the comment. I can only find the comment when I am logged out, but cannot delete it then. PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

    Hi there,

    If we post the comments on some other site, then we don’t have the authority to delete or edit it. Users on the blog who have Editor or Administrator rights will have the ability to manage comments.

    It is not possible to edit or delete any comments you have left on other WordPress.com blogs. Blog owners are in full control of the comments on their blogs, so you can try contacting the blog owner and ask them to edit or delete a comment for you.

    I’m curious why it’s only showing for you when you are logged out.
