How to delete a duplicate category?
-
Hi all, I’ve got a problem with a “ghost” category not getting deleted.
In detail, I’m try to edit a new category “T Shirts”; I want the slug to be “t-shirts”, but when I save, it reverts to “t-shirts-2”.
I’m guessing this is because I’ve been playing around with wordpress for a while (getting to grips!) and I’ve created a category called “T Shirts” in the past, and have since deleted it. To clarify, this category does not show up on my edit categories section.
Basically I’m wondering if there’s somewhere in my php files where that category has not been fully deleted?
Many thanks in advance.
