  how do you delete a follower from your blog
  a friend of mine is a follower but her email is not word press it has come as wordpress.
  How do I delete her so she can try again

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There’s no way to delete a follower. Can you explain the issue your friend is having more clearly? They subscribed to your site, but their email address isn’t the one associated with her WordPress.com account? Or she didn’t get the confirmation email?

  Dear Shawna

  My friend has told me she did not subscribe to a word press account.

  The follower comes as sj2324 but it does have the right email address
  of my friend except for wordpress.com.

  when you click on sj2324 it takes you to a site our documentary.

  There is no way my friend would have set up a word press account
  she would only want to follow me by email.

  Also if people want to leave comments they do not have to have a word press account do they.

  My friend also told me she has tried to leave comments but has trouble doing that.

  If you tell me their email address I can take a look. Email addresses will be redacted from public view, but staff members (me) will be able to see them. :)

  Hi Shawna

  Did you want my friend’s email as I will ask her permission first.
  She has not been able to comment on my site something about
  it won’t accept her email and password.

  I already explained to her she does not have to have a password
  to comment on my blog. Something is very screwy she would only have to have a password if she had an account.

  Something is very wrong, this lady would not set up an account.
  Unless she has got confused with something, I thought changing to wordpress would be easy and fun. I do not think I am doing a very good job.

  Howdy!

  I just tested your site and was able to make an anonymous comment (I then deleted it for you.)

  What may be confusing to your friend is that even when making an anonymous comment, the login options appear:

  

  They’re just optional unless you prefer to login.

  If she does have a WordPress account, and is trying to use WordPress to login for commenting and cannot access, she can attempt to recover her password here:

  https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Or have her contact us directly and we’ll help her get access to her account again. Logging in for comments uses the same information as logging in there.
