How to delete a new account associated with an existing email address

  I accidentally created a new WordPress account when trying to log into my existing one. I have someone who created my WordPress site and manages it for me, although I’m an administrator as well. As an administrator, the email associate with my existing account is the same as the one I used to create the new one. The other administrator has her own email address associated with the existing account. Am I able to delete the new account without messing up my existing account?

  Hi, this account isn’t connected with any sites, so yes you can go ahead and delete it.

  Just note the username won’t be available for use again, so if you like this name and want to keep it, I’d recommend adding this user to the site instead:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
