How to delete a title from a post after the content has been trashed

  I removed and trashed a post but the title still appears; thus, someone can still click on the title but there is nothing under it. I have been searching all morning how to resolve this, to delete that title from that page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s not a post, it’s a Page, a sub-page to be clear. If you’re using a custom menu, you’re going to have to delete it by hand from the menu. If you’re not, you’re just going to have to wait till the WP.com software catches on and removes it from the automatically generated list of sub-pages.
