How to delete ALL Comments

  Hi guys,

  Quick question:

  How do I MASS delete ALL comments. and I am not referring to the mass prune function in the admin cp where I have to check mark all the comments page by page.

  I have over 345 pages of comments I wish to delete. Is there a 1 syntax line I can do to massively remove all my comments in one go?

  It sounds like you’re in the wrong forum. Our WordPress.com software works a bit differently from independent installs, which are supported over at WordPress.org. We wont’ be able to help you.

  Just for future reference, there is a “mass edit mode” for comments here at wordpress.com as well, just no “select all.”

  I know there is a mass edit mode in the admin CP.

  However, there are “8991” pages of comments I wish to delete (looks like more comments were added)

  It seems on that page, the only way I can delete the comments is by clicking the select all (which only selects 20 comments at a time) and click delete comments button.

  As you may have noticed, this will only delete 20 comments at a time, I wish to delete 8991 pages worth ASAP.

  Can this be done?

  If you are self-hosted, do a search for a plugin or such. I’m unaware of anyway to delete all of them any other way.
