How to delete all of my Tags?

I have been manually deleting all of my Tags and it is taking so very long. Can the WordPress people do those deletions for me in one fell swoop?
Also, can/will they please delete all of my Categories?

If you go to posts > tags where it brings up the list, then go to screen options and set it to display 100 (the limit as I understand it) then you can click the select all check box (top left) and then delete all 100 by choosing “delete” from the actions pulldown and then click “apply.”

Dear Sacredpath….. Thank you. I now realize that last week when I asked about deleting all of my posts, someone did mention this about the Screen Options. It is disturbing to realize that I have forgotten what was told me just last week. Maybe I ought to start a blog on “Old Age Can Be A Nuisance.” I am not kidding: It worries me that I have to ask over and over again. 8-( 8-(

Well, now I remember what happened last week. Somebody said “100” and I entered that number. Doing so made the following message pop up:
“ 414 Request-URI Too Large
The request URL is over the maximum size allowed!”So I kept lowering the number of entries until who knows what. Right now I have lowered the tag entries to 25 and still get the “Too large” message. This means that since there are not many more than 20 or so to a page anyhow, this Screen Option isn’t saving me any time. All this evening I have been deleting by the page, which is all that one can do without going to Screen Options.

Hmmm, I thought for sure the limit was 100, or at least 50. Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again and set it to 50 and see what happens.

Well how odd. Now it is deleting 75, whereas several minutes ago it was giving messages saying that 20 entries was too large! -lk

That’s what I did: I cleared the cache, but even after that I was getting Too Large messages. Then I tried incrementally adding more and more items, and now it is delting 75. -lk

Well, that is way better than only 20 at a time. It should now only take a little over a quarter as much time.
