How to delete and access a free WordPress blog account
-
I had created a free WordPress account in my late teens while in pre-medical school. I am now a physician and as such would desire to have the blog that I had created about a decade ago removed. I do not remember the email account I had created in association with the blog. I am aware of my username but not the password. Please let me know how I can access and remove my blog. Thank you in advance.

Hi there, Have you tried using the reset password form but only using your username and then checking all your old email accounts to see where the associated pw reset email has gone (check spam folders too)? See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-password
Otherwise the only way to gain access to your old account is through the account recovery form. Make sure to include your old username there. https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#assisted-account-recovery
Barring those two options, you will not be able to recover the account or delete the site. I see that Staff have already answered you here as well: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/delete-website-80/#post-3131805
