How to delete content from a blog site?

I run the blog sites for classes at the school I work at. How do I delete the blog posts from last academic year? I want to keep the theme, pages etc, but just want to delete the old posts. Thanks.

Hello,
You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog. Then you can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.
bulk delete images & media http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/#bulk-deletion
bulk delete posts > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit
bulk delete pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/#bulk-edit
