How to delete .doc file , which is not visible in Media -> Library ?

  I want to delete .doc file from word press blog. But i cannot delete that .doc file from Media -> Library, not sure where that file is hidden. please help me to delete the word doc uploaded.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you cannot find a file in the WordPress Media Library, you cannot delete it. There are no hidden files in the Media Library.

  Did you have a problem with a file upload?

  Are you sure it uploaded?

  Thanks for the response , as expected now the deleted file say “404 — File not found.” , which was not the case earlier. Even though attachment was deleted , but after google search the deleted doc was getting opened.

  That doesn’t mean the file isn’t deleted: it means Google hasn’t updated their cache. You simply have to wait for them to do that.
