How To Delete Duplicate Installations from My Blogs Page

    I tried to transfer both of my blogs over from WordPress.org to WordPress.com and ended up creating two blogs with the same domain names with the .wordpress.com extensions. I’ve purchased Domain mapping so my .wordpress.com blogs should show up as normal websites, and they do, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of the other two installations from the My Blogs page.

    I’ve tried going to Tools – Delete My Site, but it warns me that I’m deleting the wordpress.com, not the domain I own. Any help is appreciated!

    laurenmillerbooks.wordpress.com

    pocketfulofprose.com
    laurenmillerbooks.com

    Hi there,

    Since you were using the same domain names for your self-hosted blogs and you had them connected to your account with Jetpack, the old self-hosted blogs were still listed in your account. I went ahead and removed them, so now you will only see your WordPress.com blogs on your My Blogs page.

    Thanks for your help Rachel! That’s exactly what I needed. I figured they were linked *somehow* but this time I wanted to ask for help before I ended up accidentally deleting something permanently. You’re the best!!!
