how to delete header image in SemPress template?

  I added an image to header in SemPress template, then decided I didn’t like it and wanted to delete it. I deleted the images from my media library but the images are still appearing on the site. I refreshed my site; they still appear. I activated a different template and then re-activated SemPress, and the dang image is STILL there. How can this be when I’ve deleted the image from the media library?!?! Please help!! Thanks.
