How to delete "Leave a reply" spot on pages?

  I am just wondering how to remove the “Leave a reply” spot on the sela theme.

  Hi there,
  This is not theme specif so the good news is that you do the same thing you do on any WordPress.com theme to disable comments on Pages.

  You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.

  You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

  It doesn’t remove the comment section. It just disallows comments. How do you remove the comment section?

  I’ve gone through all of these steps twice and I have the same issue as mariarosana. The box is still there

  I just clicked on “pages” from the WP Admin page on the lefthand side and then clicked on quick edit and then unticked the box next to “Allow Comments” and it removes the box from the pages. Which means people can still leave comments on my blog posts but not my pages. I hope this helps ..
