How to delete linked blog

  I opened a new wordpress.com blog called catchronicles.wordpress.com and tried to associate it with my domain name catchronicles.net. This did not work and I would like to delete any association with catchronicles.net and just use the catchronicles.wordpress.com site I set up. How do I do this. On the front panel when I log in to wordpress.com I see the two sites but I cannot get into the catchronicles.net site to delete it – there is no access to it at all.

  The linked domain (catchronicles.net) has been deleted from your blog. To register a domain at WordPress.com, you can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

  I am thinking of registering a new name through wordpress.com as I purchased the extras bundle.
