how to delete my sidebar

  I am new to wordpress and am trying to figure out how to delete my sidebar on the right with “blogroll” “categories” “archives” and “recent posts”. I moved the widgets to inactive which seemed to work for a while (?) but now the sidebar is back. I am a newbie, thanks!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can remove the widgets but you cannot remove the sidebar itself. You need to select a theme in which the sidebar is optional or a theme with no sidebar. See here, under “No widget areas” and “Bottom and/or header only”:

  Put any widget into your sidebar and then take it out again. That should remove the default widget sets.
