How to delete Side Bar (right)

  Hi,

  I’d like to delete the right side bar (Archives & Meta)
  I tried to rearrange the things, but I couldn’t make it.

  Can you please help me?

  You cannot delete a sidebar. However, you can remove all widgets here > Appearance > Widgets and replace them with ones of your own choice. If you do not wish to have any widgets in a sidebar then you can place an empty text widget at the top of the sidebar — that will do the trick. Do note however, that doing this does not mean you can overflow text from the defined blogging space and include the sidebar area in the post area – they are separately defined in underlying coding which we cannot edit.

  But leaving the sidebar empty will look wrong, so if I were you I would follow timethief’s first suggestion and replace Archives & Meta with something else, for instance an image related to the content of your blog.

  I agree. A related image and/or a related quotation are always nice choices we can make for sidebars. An image in an image widget — quotation in a text widget would look much better than empty space.
