how to delete space between menu & text

  in my child style sheet i have put a no display in place for page titles and i also got rid of the entry-title. my first order of business is to shore up the excess space left as residue to the page-title (i think that’s where it is). i have a graphic that i want to put below the menu and want to remove space after main menu.
