How To Delete the blog name from each screen

  I am trying to just move up the links to the top of the page and get rid of:

  scvsky
  A great WordPress.com site

  from the top of each page. How do I do this?

  It appears you figured this out. It looks to me like you did it by unchecking the “Show header text with your image.” option on the Appearance → Header page.
