Hi there,
I’ll be happy to help you! :)
I just want my page to be a single one, and because of that I don’t need the sidebar menu. How can I delete it?
As we all know there are two kinds of menus that are offered in WordPress.com themes, Hamburger Menu and Classic Menu. These menus are dependent on the theme that is being used on the site. If you want to change it to classic menu, you may consider using another theme having the same. There are multiple filters that you can use while selecting a theme for your website (See this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/).
Moreover, if you want to completely delete your menu, you can do that too. You can delete all menu items using the custom menu. Here is the support document for your help: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/.
Hope this helps! :)

Such a swift response, thank you so much! I will look more into the links you’ve given me because at the moment I don’t yet understand how it works.
Again, thank you.

Hi amninuruddin,
If you wish to remove the menu that is appearing on the right top, please follow the steps below:
1) Go to Customizer, click on ‘menus’
2) Then click on ‘Create New Menu’
3) Give a name to the menu
4) Below you’ll find ‘Top primary menu’ option, check that box.
5) Click on ‘Next’
6) Then click on ‘Publish’Now, you’ll not see that top right menu on your site, as you have not assigned any page or post to the newly added menu.
Hope this helps!
Let me know if you have any more question. I’ll be happy to help. :)

Hi amninuruddin – are you referring to the slide-out menu that slides out from the right when you click the “menu” icon at the top right here?
If you don’t plan to have an About Me page, you can delete (or set to draft) the one you have right now and that should remove it from your menu, and in turn remove the “Menu” link at the top of your homepage.
Let me know how it goes!

simranjeetkaur10’s method of creating a blank menu could also work, but if you don’t plan to have an About page, it’s better to just delete the page. And if you do plan to have a page, your readers will need some way to find it, so having a menu probably makes sense. Let me know what you have in mind!
