  How to delete “uncategorized” category

  The answer is very simple: you can’t.

  All sites start off with the one “uncategorized” category. Although you can’t delete it you can rename it to something more suitable for your site.

  I created new categories, but I can’t rename or delete this uncategorized one, it keeps showing in my footer with all the other new categories!!
