  Hi,

  You can edit the header menu (“tab”) by going to Appearance -> Menu and then add/remove/re-order menu items there.

  Well, it will enable YOU to hide it on some themes. Not all themes display post authors, so you can just change themes and hide that for free, but to hide the categories and date takes a bit of fiddling in CSS code. The premium upgrades that include Custom Design will enable you to do this.
