How to determine owner of a WordPress.com site

  I work for a church. A decade ago, someone on our staff created a “pastors’ blog” on WordPress.com and posts were made on that blog. None of the “pastors” listed on the blog are still associated with our church and it is not at all representative of where we are as a church. However, this blog shows up in search results, and we’d like to shut it down if possible. No one can figure out who owns it. Is there anything we can do to at least figure out the email address associated with the blog?
