How to disable blog feature

  Hi I would like to delete the blog page on my site and remove the option of commenting. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Delete a page — Your page titled “Blog” is not assigned as the blog page or posts page, but it may be deleted as described in the Deleting and Restoring Pages section of the Edit Pages Screen support page.

  Do you mean on all posts, or selectively?

  When a static front page is set, it is recommended that you assign another page as the posts page. However, it is unnecessary to provide a link in the menu to that page.

  That should have gone like this:
