how to disable gmail account associated with my site?

  I believe I accidentally signed up for a gmail account using my wordpress site name @gmail.com. I want to release this email address to use it elsewhere. How do I cancel the use of (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

  If you have a basic gmail account set up then you will want to talk to Google directly about that and how to proceed.

  Looking at the account on WordPress.com I do not see where y’all have purchased any custom email solutions for which I could provide assistance with.
