How to disable "view full size" in carousel
-
How do I disable “view full size” below my images in carousel? I have looked at a couple of other forums on this topic and none of them have seemed to help. Any CSS suggestions for this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Would you need Reblog button there?
This CSS will hide the Reblog plus “View full size”.
.jp-carousel-light .jp-carousel-image-meta { display: none; }Please let me know if you would like to retain Reblog in which case the CSS will get a bit complex, but I can still try.

That will work, I am okay if it hides both the “reblog” and “view full size”. Is there any way you can help my figure out what specific CSS info I need to replace that with? When I go into my developer tools to find the old info that I am replacing so much pops up I am just not sure exactly what I need to copy and paste into my customizer to change. Did that make any sense?

You just have to add the above CSS in the CSS Editor and save it.
or are you asking how can you learn CSS?
Please don’t hesitate to ask if something is unclear still :-)

Hi chaitanyamsv. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.
I added the above CSS in my CSS Editor and saved it, however I am still not seeing the changes. I am wondering if I copied and pasted the incorrect CSS info off of my website with the developer tools and therefore the CSS info you gave me to replace that is not being applied towards anything?
Furthermore, I thought with CSS you had to find the old CSS info on your website, copy and paste that into the editor, and then after that paste the new CSS info that you want to override the old. That is what I tried to do and it’s still not working.

I see that you haven’t added the above CSS to the existing custom CSS you have.
Just copy the above CSS and paste it at the end of your existing custom CSS and save.
So your complete CSS would be:
.site-logo { display: inline-block; margin-right: 14px; width: auto; max-height: 170px; vertical-align: center } .site-footer::before { content: "© Emily N. Mittmann and Emily Mittmann Photography, 2015. Unauthorized use and/or duplication of this material without express and written permission from this blog’s author and/or owner is strictly prohibited. "; display: block; float: left !important; margin-bottom: 20px } .site-info { width: 100%; max-width: 100%; text-align: right } .jp-carousel-light .jp-carousel-image-meta { display: none; }You don’t have to locate the existing rules. Any new rules we add in the custom CSS editor will take precedence over existing rules.

I don’t know why it’s not showing up, because I have that exact info in my CSS and it’s still not working…
-
I can see that you updated the CSS correctly and as a result both the Reblog and View Full Size buttons are hidden.
Is there anything else you would like to change on your site? Feel free to ask away. :-)

Hi again. So I see that that change has worked, but only for the first picture that is opened in the gallery’s series. When you scroll through the pictures, “view full size” is still there on all of the ones after the first picture that opens up…
