How to disable WordPress emails from going out when I publish a post.
-
Hi! I just signed up for MailChimp to send out blast emails to my subscribers. Also, going forward I’m going to have all subscribers, subscribe through MailChimp.
Currently when I publish a post, WordPress automatically sends an email to my subscribers. However, I will no longer need that function, since it will now be done through MailChimp.
Is there any way to disable WordPress from sending out emails when I publish a post?
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The only way to completely prevent emails from being sent out is to set your blog to private, however that will also prevent anyone from being able to see your blog at all without a login.
With that said, your users can opt out of receiving emails. You may want to consider writing a blog post letting users know that they can manage their email subscriptions at any time, and they can read more about all of it right here:
