How to display excerpt instead of entire post

  Hi,
  Is it possible to only display excerpt on the front page instead of having the entire post show up on the page? I like the visual layout of this theme very much, but if I add a longer post, the column gets annoyingly long and I don’t want to show the entire text to everyone if they haven’t even clicked on it.

  Hey lkrakovitch,

  I would suggest adding the ‘Insert Read More tag‘ to your post where you want it to cut off. This can be found on the opposite side of ‘Bold‘ within the post you want to shorten.

  Give that a try and let me know if that works for you..

  Hi! Perfect, thank you! I didn’t notice this simple feature before because I was using a layout that would automatically display excerpts.
