How to display full post?

    Hello!
I just posted an article on my page (https://planthletegirl.wordpress.com/) however, I noticed it only shows a few sentences and you have to Maximize the paragraph to continue reading. Is there anyway to display the full post once you’re on the main page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You chose a theme that automatically displays front page excerpts. This is a list of active themes on WordPress.com that use the excerpt instead of full post content. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/theme-with-automatic-excerpts?replies=13#post-1396410

You have two choices (1) select another theme (2) use the excerpt function knowing that the HTML will NOT be active ie. this suggestion doesn’t work with objects inserted via a shortcode (videos, polls, audio players etc).

On any theme with an active excerpt box below the editor box you can use this workaround to have full posts on the front page. You compose your whole post first and before you publish it you switch to the HTML (Text) editor, copy all the code, paste it into the Excerpt box below the posts editor, and publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts

If you do not see an excerpt box then go to screen options on the top right hand corner of your Admin page and include all the modules:
Post – Likes and Shares, Format, Categories, Tags, Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Discussion, Comments, Slug, Author, Revisions, Writing Helper

    I recommend changing themes.

    re: changing themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult.
