How to display image numbers on my blog?

    I would like the image numbers to display on my blog page. Is there any way to make that happen?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You could display your photos in mosaic galleries. Type the image number on the caption line, then when a reader hovers over the picture the caption (image number) will pop into view.

    Or just put the image number into captions.

    Or if you have the images open in an attachment window, you can put the image number into the description field so that when a reader clicks on a picture he will see the number below the picture on the attachment page.
