How to display only summries of my posts.

    If you look at my home page:

    http://korporalkernel.wordpress.com/

    or click on one of the categories listed on the right of the page, you’ll see the complete text of the posts, some are quite lengthy.

    I’m becoming frustrated because there seems to be no way to display just a summary of all posts in any category.

    In fact a visitor has no way to see the titles of my posts unless they actually scroll down the entire displayed page, this is fatiguing and tedious.

    It would be better to display just the first paragraph of each post so that one only sees an entire post if one actually clicks its title, thus opening that chosen post.

    Is this a theme limitation? a WordPress idiosyncracy? or a feature one must pay for?

    OK I just completely resolved my problem!

    This is pretty exactly what I was seeking, I’m very satisfied with this feature.

    Basically you just embed a little tag after the first paragraph and that’s it, see these instructions:
