How to display only the first part of a long post?

  Is there some special code I can put in a long post, on my blog, so that only the first part of the post is displayed on my front page, and the user clicks a link to see the rest? I’ve seen this done on some blogs around here, but I can’t find anything in the FAQ about this. (Maybe I just don’t know the right keyword to refer to this feature.)

  Hi, dianavera. When you’re writing a post, click the icon on the tool bar that looks like two boxes with a space between them. I believe it’s fifth from the right. That will split the post where your cursor is, although you won’t see it when you preview your post.
