How to display portfolio NEWEST FIRST

    Hello there,

I need some help display my portfolio pieces, I need them to be displayed newest first but whatever theme I choose they are always displayed oldest first.
Which is confusing / misleading because on the demos I’ve tried the posts are being displayed newest first.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

but whatever theme I choose they are always displayed oldest first.

Although on many themes projects appear in reverse-chronological order, that’s not the case for every theme. Orvis, like Blask and Illustratr, evidently uses the Masonry javascript grid-layout library, which determines the project display order when the featured images are of different sizes and shapes.

However, the Rebalance theme that you are presently using automatically displays portfolio projects in reverse-chronological order by publish date, with the latest displayed at the top, leftmost. If yours are not displaying in that order, then please add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention.

  • Hi there,

Where on your site are you seeing your projects in the wrong order?

Looking at your project list, the three most recent projects you published are Data Hacker, Impossible Rescue, and QA Technician – Codemasters, and they’re also the three I see at the top on your site’s front page.

The last one appearing on the front page, Pyjama Knight (which is set to private), is the oldest one, published in November 2016.

So from what I can see, your projects are correctly showing with the most-recently published first.
