How to display posts by Index

  Hello,
  I am pretty new to wordpress.
  I wanna design a system where posts are added to a page but can only be accessed through an index.

  More specifically, I am creating a lyrics website and on the ‘Lyrics’ page, I want the indices A-Z where the letters A-Z represent a first letter of the specific Artiste’s name

  You’re trying to do that on WordPress.com? Good luck. It’s going to be time consuming.

  Use the first letter of the artist’s name as a category, then use a custom menu to hide the blog posts page and only feature category pages. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/
