How to display the ENGLISH or FRANCAIS buttons above the header image ?

  Hello,

  As you can see, the languages buttons are placed in a widget area located in the main slide bar on the right side of the welcome page. How can I do so that they appear above the header image….no widget in this area ?

  No, not in this theme.
  from Twenty Eleven Theme Page:

  The Twenty Eleven theme features three default layouts for your blog. Two of those layouts feature a typical sidebar, either on the left or right of your content. The third layout does away with the sidebar altogether turning Twenty Eleven into a tumblelog theme.

  Some themes has menus on top of the header, you could use them, but then it’s hard to insert the flag icons, it should be only the text.
