How to do backup for my site?
-
Hi everyone, I want to do backup of my site. How can I do backup?
-
Hi,
If you want to export your content and images so you’ll have your own copy locally, here’s how:
https://wordpress.com/support/export/If you need a backup because you’re adding an outside plugin or theme, and if you are using our Pro, Business, or eCommerce hosting plan, you’ll get Jetpack Backups automatically. This article explains how to use them to rewind changes:
https://wordpress.com/support/restore/For self-hosted WordPress installations, Jetpack Backup is available as a paid service. But your host may have their own backups, too, so you might check with them.

We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re not able to access the backend of your site to take a closer look.
The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help. They may also have recommendations for free backup plugins or services.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
