How to do strikethrough text in a post title

  Can I strikethrough a word in a post title? When I copy and paste a strikethrough word from the actual post (or from word) into the title, the strikethrough goes away.

  In some themes you can use HTML coding in the titles, but in most you cannot (in my experience). You could try it. If you don’t know how to use HTML the simplest way is to type it into the Post box and use the strikethrough icon, then click over to the HTML tab and copy the code. Put that in the title box.

  If you do this and it doesn’t work, it probably won’t work on that theme.

  I’ve never been able to get any HTML to stick in post or page titles and it always gets stripped out. I’m sure that has to do with not messing up the permalink structure.
