How to drag widgets to sidebar & another knotty problem

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, I changed my theme because the first one wasn’t mobile friendly & when I did, all my widgets disappeared. I’m adding them back (or trying to more about that shortly) but all are at the bottom & I want them on the sidebar. I chatted back & forth with someone from Support & he said to drag them to the sidebar but I don’t know how to do that.

Also, I am unable to add a Facebook link now. I copy it from the address bar on my FB fan page but cannot paste it into the Facebook widget.

I do pay but not premium so don’t think I can use plug-ins.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

A site’s widget areas are determined by its theme, and this theme doesn’t have a sidebar widget area. All of the widget areas are in the footer, and they can be configured here:

WordPress.com does not offer the option to install third-party plugins. If you would like more control over plugins and the option to install your own, a WordPress.org setup would be the best solution for you.
